Albanese adds $585m to Australia-made drive

The Albanese government is building on its plans for a Future Made in Australia Act by pledging almost $600 million in loans to bolster two critical minerals projects.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will travel to Queensland’s coal belt on Wednesday to announce $400 million in loans to Australian company Alpha HPA to help it establish a high-purity alumina processing facility in Gladstone.
