AFP rehired Paladin subsidiary after CEO removal demand

A subsidiary of controversial security firm Paladin had a $1.8 million Australian government contract extended just months after the Home Affairs Department demanded the removal of a key executive.
Former Paladin managing director Craig Thrupp was directed to cease involvement with a lucrative $532 million government contract to provide security services at the Manus Island detention centre in September 2018.
