ABC to get $126m post-election funding injection

The ABC will receive additional funding of at least $126 million over three years in the mid-year budget update to bolster its coffers amid warnings past cuts had taken a serious toll on the national broadcaster.
Communications Minister Michelle Rowland will also seek to make law the five-year funding agreements Labor committed to at the 2022 election that came after a decade of funding uncertainty.
