Gladys Berejiklian and Daryl Maguire’s secret affair created a “ripple effect of conflicts” for government, former NSW deputy premier John Barilaro has told the state’s anti-corruption watchdog.
Mr Barilaro also told the Independent Commission Against Corruption the sped up process for cabinet to clear a funding bid for a project in Mr Maguire’s seat was “unusual” and that the Wagga Wagga MP was a “pain in the arse” as he persistently sought funding for projects in his electorate.
