Daniel Andrews yanks newspaper advertising as he turns to social media
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the best way to communicate to voters is via television, digital publications and social media as he declared his government would redirect millions in advertising spend away from newspapers.
From July 1 the Labor government will cease advertising, other than as required by law, in Nine’s The Age and The Australian Financial Review, and News Corp publications such as The Australian and tabloid the Herald Sun.
