New Premier David Crisafulli has signalled he will repeal laws banning property developers from making campaign donations, as a way to even up rules that may have allowed Labor to outspend his party 15-to-one in some seats in the Queensland election.

The Liberal-National Party is on track for a landslide victory and at least 53 seats in Queensland’s 93-seat single chamber parliament, ending nine years of Labor rule in the state.
