'Too conservative': Qld border criteria under fire

Queensland's criteria to open borders only 28 days after the last diagnosis of a COVID-19 case from an unknown source has been slammed by epidemiologists as too conservative.

With state and territory borders across the country starting to come down as Australia gets on top of the spread of the virus, Queensland has kept its strong border stance, flagging a conditional opening to NSW on November 1 provided the state meets the rule of going four weeks without a mystery case.
