State border closures starting to come down

Queensland has given conditional approval for reopening its borders with NSW on November 1 – one day after the state election.

After months of pressure from the Coalition government and the business community to lift its draconian border closures, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said on Friday Queensland would finally move.
