Andrews braces for IBAC double trouble
Victorian MPs are closing ranks behind Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews as he braces to be dragged into two separate independent corruption inquiries including into Labor branch stacking.
Five weeks of public hearings by Victoria’s Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission (IBAC) kick off on Monday, focused on Labor’s branch stacking scandal which will centre on members of the Andrews government. Federal Labor MP Anthony Byrne will be compelled as the first witness on Monday.
