A popular COVID-19 tax shortcut will end on June 30, adding new complexity for the millions of Australians still working from home.

Since March 2020, taxpayers claiming work-related deductions have been given the option to claim 80¢-per-hour for each hour they work from home during the pandemic, rather than claiming for each individual expense incurred.
