Wayne Swan caves to Senate demands over Cbus scandal

Cbus chairman and Labor powerbroker Wayne Swan has caved to the Senate’s demands that he explain the customer service and governance scandals engulfing the fund, agreeing to give evidence before a hearing on Friday.

The former Labor treasurer was originally asked to appear last week, but refused until Liberal senator and Senate economics committee chairman Andrew Bragg threatened to compel him to appear.
