Super chiefs risk pay cut for failings: ASIC, APRA
The corporate watchdog has threatened superannuation fund executives with penalties if they do not fix their customer service failings and warned directors they were ultimately responsible for ensuring pension giants clean up their governance.
The regulator told chief executives on Tuesday that an investigation into how they dealt with bereaved members had shown “consistently weak” processes that were symptomatic of a broader disregard for how they served customers.
