Tasmanian businesswoman Jan Cameron and the Tax Office have withdrawn from an impending court battle over whether a Caribbean-based trust that offloaded shares in baby formula company Bellamy’s Australia is liable for capital gains tax.

The former Financial Review Rich Lister launched an application against the ATO in May relating to The Black Prince Private Foundation, a legal entity based on the Caribbean island of Curaçao, a known tax haven.
