Boral one of many holding back $200m in carbon tax liabilities
Construction company Boral has been put on notice by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for apparently failing to reverse customer charges on some of its key products following the repeal of the carbon tax.
Many landfill operators haven’t refunded up to $200 million they charged for carbon tax liabilities that will no longer happen because of the repeal of the carbon tax, according to the competition watchdog.
Construction company Boral has also been put on notice by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for apparently failing to reverse customer charges imposed under the tax.
