Use of anti-depressants in the young is under review

As more Australians turn to anti-depressants to see them through the pandemic, the national drug regulator has begun reviewing the worrying association between anti-depressant use and suicide in younger people.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is aiming to complete this review and provide independent expert advice on the issue, before the end of 2020.
