Poaching of overseas students rife, regulator warns

Rampant poaching of overseas students by rogue universities and colleges has prompted the higher education regulator to launch a series of investigations and warn all providers to toe the line in how they recruit students.

The regulatory rebuke comes as international student numbers from a small number of destinations spike to historical highs.
