Prostate cancer screening guidelines ‘putting lives at risk’

Deaths from prostate cancer are rising, and the guidelines on screening should be scrapped, according to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

It says the landscape has changed, the guidelines are outdated and do not include new technology that can sharpen diagnosis and reduce the fear of overtreatment.
