Probe over safety of Jewish students at Sydney University
The NSW workplace safety regulator has opened an investigation into Sydney University, warning all businesses they have a duty to ensure physical and psychological safety.
SafeWork NSW confirmed investigators would consider a complaint by a former Sydney University staff member alleging the university had failed to adequately protect the psychosocial safety of Jewish students and academics. The complaint came after the university negotiated with protesters to end an encampment at the campus.
