COVID-19 inquiry boss vows to find ‘missing piece’

Commonwealth COVID-19 review chief Robyn Kruk dismissed claims the inquiry is too narrow, saying she has a wide mandate to document lessons from the pandemic.

Federal COVID-19 inquiry head Robyn Kruk has rejected claims the review is not broad enough, declaring a wide mandate to complete the missing piece of the national response to the pandemic.

This will include key issues such as the effectiveness of national cabinet, border and lockdown decisions, the roll-out of contact tracing, testing and vaccinations, health worker safety, and the important role the logistics and supply sector played.
