One of the questions hovering above the candidacy of Prabowo Subianto for the Indonesian presidency has been whether his term in office would be a sequel to the incumbent, Joko Widodo, or a new departure.

That he looks to have clinched a win in the first round might well have answered that question. Much now depends on how Prabowo interprets that mandate.
