Owen Harries, a foreign policy giant in Australia and the US in the '70s, '80s and '90s, has been remembered as a conservative who opposed NATO expansion, the US-led wars in Bosnia and Kosovo and the Bush doctrine of regime change.
Harries, who died last month aged 90, received his final farewell in brilliant sunshine at Sydney’s Macquarie Park Crematorium.
