Morrison-backed space start-up lands NASA tie-up

A space start-up chaired by Scott Morrison will develop a new way of launching satellites at a NASA facility in the United States, in a tie-up with the US agency that the former prime minister says will boost its credibility among potential investors and clients.

Space Centre Australia, which Morrison joined last year, is seeking to build a spaceport facility in Cape York, Queensland, that aims to tap into a growing need from government and commercial clients for rocket-launching infrastructure.
