Freed journalist Peter Greste reflects on Egyptian prison trials

Al Jazeera journalist Peter Greste has likened his time languishing in an Egyptian prison to a “baptism of fire” which helped him discover untapped reserves of resilience.

Freed Al Jazeera journalist Peter Greste has likened his time languishing in an Egyptian prison to a “baptism of fire" which helped him discover untapped reserves of resilience.

“Most of us are far more capable of coping with difficult situations than we realise," said Mr Greste, 49, who arrived home in Brisbane on Thursday.
