China-Victoria technology collaboration in jeopardy

A joint Victorian research program with Chinese province Jiangsu, created as part of a 40-year sister state relationship, is in jeopardy under new foreign relations rules planned by the federal government.

Under the program, Victorian businesses and researchers are eligible for grants of up to $200,000 from the state government for joint ventures with counterparts in Jiangsu.
