South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas warned on Tuesday there was no way of knowing if a toxic algal bloom off the state’s coast would disappear by summer as he unveiled a $14 million package to help deal with the fallout.
The package includes $10,000 grants for small businesses such as oyster farmers and fishing tackle shops caught up in the fallout, real-time sensors and a local testing laboratory.
