Cancelled nuclear talk enrages politicians and engineers

Engineers and conservative politicians have revolted against the cancellation of a scheduled speech by a nuclear scientist following social media pressure from renewables energy advocate Simon Holmes à Court.

Members of Engineers Australia are demanding answers from the organisation’s leadership and complained it has been politicised by censuring nuclear energy advocate Rob Parker who was due to deliver the “Avoiding an energy blunder Down Under” address to more than 400 people on Wednesday night.
