Dan Harrison and Luke Iseman are peas from different pods, but as they pump particles into the sky on opposite sides of the world, they agree on one thing; intervention is the new conservation.

“It would be a much better situation if we didn’t have to look into ideas like this,” says Dr Harrison, of his work curating clouds over the Great Barrier Reef to slow the bleaching of coral.
