If we decarbonise Australia, which we should, we reduce world emissions by 1.3 per cent. If we focus on our clear comparative advantage in producing green iron and aluminium, making green urea and transport fuels, and green polysilicon, as examples, we can reduce world emissions directly by between an additional 6 per cent to 9 per cent.

If you are interested in the future of the world’s climate, where would you put most focus? We all know that it is only world emission reductions that help reduce the impact of climate change.
