Trickle-down misinformation

Short-term pain for long-term gain; Nuclear just a Coalition political play; Economics not such a Nobel calling; Stage three a bad idea in so many ways.

The nuclear lobby appears to have had a trickle-down effect on “ordinary people” who are also immune to the benefits or necessities of renewable energy.

It seems some want to approve of anything but the renewables industry. Greg Noble (Letters, October 12) is convinced: “Australia will have nuclear power regardless of the hand wringing under the AUKUS security pact, so why not build skills, increase baseload capacity and reduce prices with atomic technology?“
