On no account should the views of APRA be accepted in determining how “fit and proper person” should be determined to direct the almost $3 trillion under management in the superannuation sector (“Best people should govern super, not captain’s picks”, December 17).

This is because APRA has blindly enforced the optional but systemically conflicted ASX Corporate Governance Principles.
