Qld tourism operators preparing for end of JobKeeper ‘cliff’

Queensland tourism operators in international hotspots like Cairns and the Gold Coast are preparing to “fall off a cliff” at the end of the month when the Morrison government’s JobKeeper scheme ends.
While some operators have already started laying off staff ahead of JobKeeper ending on March 28, others are preparing to try to hold on to employees for as long as they can.
