Brisbane restaurant and bar owner Giuseppe Petroccitto says the return of office workers into the CBD is being slowed down by overly cautious human resources departments that are worried about future coronavirus outbreaks.

Mr Petroccitto said he hoped that, following her decisive election victory last Saturday, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk would take a more practical approach to control future COVID-19 outbreaks once the state border with all of NSW was opened.
