The main venue for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be built in the city’s inner-north at Victoria Park – breaking a repeated election promise by Premier David Crisafulli not to build a new stadium.

The decision to build the 63,000-seat stadium in current green space comes more than 3½ years after the city was awarded hosting rights and after two independent reviews.
