New virus case sparks alert in three states

The containment of Victoria’s outbreak has been thrown into doubt by a Melbourne woman who broke the state’s lockdown and drove with her family through regional NSW to Queensland, where she tested positive.

Business and health experts maintain a quick end to national border closures and restrictions remains safe, despite the single new case in the 44-year-old woman.
