Australia is undershooting a range of expert predictions for the spread of the coronavirus by a wide and growing margin.
Predictions from both bureaucrats and academics indicated that 20 per cent to 60 per cent of the Australian population could be infected with the coronavirus, which would translate to between 5 million and 15 million Australians.
