Phillip Coorey’s report (“Frydenberg rules out a return to politics – for now”) would be widely welcomed, given the decimation of the Liberal Party’s Victorian branch following the 2022 federal election loss.
It would be no easy gig for the former treasurer, given his party’s mediocre, policy-free performance since he departed, with a perceived “woman problem” and reputation for naysaying.
