Consumer sentiment collapses but housing dreams hold up

Consumer sentiment in Victoria has plunged and dragged the rest of the nation down with it as the return of strict lockdown conditions in the state spurs fears the coronavirus pandemic has not been contained.

But most people, including Victorians, have a more positive view of property and expect house prices to rise again.
