Former Aberdeen Asset Management boss Brett Jollie will head up the Australasian arm of the freshly merged $1 trillion global asset management powerhouse Standard Life Aberdeen.

After getting the green light from the Court of Session in Edinburgh last week, the mega-merger between Edinburgh-based asset managers Aberdeen and Standard Life was completed on Monday.
