Election 2016: Public service well-prepared to handle uncertainty

For the next four weeks the public service will be celebrating "innovation month", a festival of ideas featuring a new theme, "disrupt, develop, display".
Launched on Monday by Health secretary Martin Bowles and Industry deputy secretary David Hazlehurst, it has obvious ironies given that Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is currently experiencing the painfully rough edge of the disruption pineapple.
