Huge crowds call for Hong Kong leader to go
Hong Kong | Hundreds of thousands of people returned to Hong Kong’s streets on Sunday in defiance of Beijing’s backdown over controversial extradition laws which has triggered an outpouring of anger in the former British colony.

Organisers said late Sunday that 2 million people, almost 30 per cent of the city's population, took part.
