Trump-Xi meeting 'highly unlikely' before March 1 deadline, official says

Washington | Donald Trump and Xi Jinping are unlikely to hold a US-China summit to resolve their trade dispute before their truce expires on March 1.

In a flurry of signals from US officials that sent stocks to one of their worst days this year, the officials appeared to downplay expectations for another face-to-face meeting between the leaders in coming weeks.
