Newly crowned Labor leader Anthony Albanese will visit the Queensland seat of Longman on Tuesday, in a gesture of reconciliation with the voters who spurned his party at the May 18 election.
Mr Albanese told The Australian Financial Review it was important to send a signal from the outset that Labor needed to reconnect with the communities that rejected it.
