Australia falling behind on automation, warns BCA

Australian business needs to better embrace automation and other technological change to avoid being left behind, but it also needs to adopt changes to ensure the workers most vulnerable can adapt, the Business Council of Australia says.

In a speech to be delivered on Wednesday, BCA chief executive officer Jennifer Westacott will cite new research from economic consultants AlphaBeta which shows Australian business is already lagging in comparison to global competitors.
