Gold Anomaly (GOA)
With the market beginning to emerge from the malaise caused by the emergence of the resource super profits tax, Gold Anomaly ’s 23.8 per cent jump yesterday could be a red rag to the speculative gold bulls. The company reported the completion of channel sampling of the face at Crater Mountain, part of the Nevera prospect in Papua New Guinea – the small cap’s secondary project. It said that continuous 5 metre channel samples had been taken while the rock was still fresh from the machinery cuts. The machinery is to continue southwards to the vicinity of BHP Billiton’s diamond drillhole.
