The challenge for the Fed is that the economy is going a little too well, meaning more volatility ahead for stocks as investors try to decipher its inflation fighting playbook.
I spent the past several weeks in the United States (along with probably half of the Australian market) attending corporate site tours and investment conferences.
Importantly, it gave me the opportunity to be on the ground and really see how the US economy is faring, given the rapid rise in interest rates, and a stubbornly high inflation rate.
