The winds of change blow through markets
Patrick ComminsColumnistBarely two months ago investors were near convinced a global recession was around the corner. Central banks were easing as fast as they could, but couldn't keep up with the accelerating slump in trade and industrial activity.
Nor could monetary policymakers do much to offset the constant flow of bad news around Trump's trade wars and the climbing risk of a no-deal Brexit.
