A rush of money into clean energy mining companies and junior healthcare pioneers helped propel the Australian bourse past 8000 points on Monday for the first time.

The five biggest winners on Australia’s benchmark S&P/ASX 200 Index since it first topped 7000 points just before COVID-19 hit financial markets are energy transition winners Liontown Resources, Paladin Energy and Boss Energy, gold miner De Grey Mining, and cancer diagnostics biotech Telix Pharmaceuticals.
