Investors brace for US inflation, profit wave

Australian shares are poised to follow Wall Street lower on Monday as investors brace for a crucial snapshot of the US inflation pulse, and the local corporate profit season gets under way.
Futures indicate the S&P/ASX 200 will decline 0.15 per cent at the opening bell, following a weak lead from the US benchmarks after jobs data showed slowing growth in the US labour market.
