Global equities sell-off amid renewed virus fears

Australian shares are poised to drop at the open, following slumps in Europe and New York as global concern about the coronavirus continues to escalate.
ASX futures were down 136 points or 2.1% to 6271 near 8.20am AEDT, slightly paring earlier losses. The currency slid below US66¢.
