Funds hit as Trump shadow looms over green energy

As the US election approaches, fears are rising that a second term for Donald Trump could augur a shift away from renewable energy for the world’s largest economy and leave investors in the lurch.
Betting odds place the former president’s chances of winning in November at about 62 per cent, down from almost 70 per cent before President Joe Biden dropped out of the race earlier this month.
